About This Year's Fund the Need

Thank you to everyone that joined us in person on Saturday at the 8th Annual Griffin Gala. We had an incredible event, and we are so blessed to have the support of so many in our community. This year, we have a very important "Fund the Need" with a goal of $65,000. We are about $5,000 short, and we are hoping that you will help bring us across the finish line.

Your gift to Father McGivney's "Fund the Need" will be used for the following items:

Portable Stage: The wooden stage we currently use for productions, graduation, and events was built by Mrs. Kovarik's father seven years ago. It has served us well, but it is time for a new stage which is collapsible for storage, can be raised to different heights, interlocking pieces that are level, and is much larger than the current stage. The new stage will be used for drama productions, choir and band performances, graduation, and other events.

Track & Field Equipment: Coming off of our Girls Track and Field State Championship, a grassroots campaign began to build a track, which will be ready to go this season. Prior to this year, our teams have been practicing at facilities all over the region. While we finally will have a track, we still need the basic equipment - starting blocks, hurdles, high jump equipment, etc. Your support will help us finish off the track.

Table Games: Our students enjoy downtime in the building before and after school to decompress while playing chess and ping pong. We would like to expand the options available to our students with additional chess tables, foosball, and air hockey.
