AUCTION FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What's the deal?
On Saturday, March 22, 2025, PS9's "Parents of PS9" is hosting an adults-only party and auction! It's your chance to unwind, connect with other parents, and raise funds for our kids. Join us at the Schafler Forum at Congregation Rodeph Sholom (7 W 83rd St.) for an evening of food, drinks, dancing, and bidding-all to support PS9.
This year's theme?
NINE FEST - A night full of color, energy and music festival flair!
Why an auction?
Proceeds fund the programs that make PS9 special - like our full time assistant teachers, Spanish, science, music, and our librarian.
How can you help?
BRING IN DONATIONS! We're looking for:
Class visits from authors or professionals with unique careers.
Gift cards to restaurants, grocery stores, and retailers.
Kids' camps, classes, or party vouchers.
Fitness classes, equipment, or personal training.
Tickets to sports, theater, or concerts.
Travel vouchers, rental homes, or professional services (e.g., tutoring, photography).
Lightweight retail items like jewelry, bags, or kids' clothes.
When are donations due?
Submit online by March 1, 2025. Late submissions are accepted but uploading takes time, so sooner is better! Here's a solicitation letter you can customize and here is a donation form you can print out and leave behind with a letter, or attach to an email. Items can also be entered directly on this website. PS9 parents can email us for access to our list of companies to solicit.
Don't want to solicit?
Consider donating directly to the auction in the Donate Now section below or pass along unused gift cards or certificates you have at home.
