Stand Up for Kids 2025

Stand Up for Kids is a night of clean comedy benefiting Kids Talk Child Advocacy Center, a program of Aspire Indiana Health. Ticket holders will enjoy an evening of comedy provided by our hilarious headliner, Tara Brown! Guests will also enjoy heavy hors d'ouevres, drinks, and a silent auction at the Paramount Theatre. Proceeds from this event will provide crucial funds for services to child and elder abuse victims as well as adult victims with developmental disabilities. Proceeds will also be used to provide our child abuse prevention program in schools throughout Madison and Hancock counties.

What is Kids Talk Child Advocacy Center? 

Kids Talk is a nationally accredited child-friendly place where children ages 3-17 as well as adults with developmental disabilities can speak with a specially trained forensic interviewer regarding allegations of abuse and neglect that may have been committed against them. Kids Talk brings the system to the child by providing a single interview for the investigative needs of law enforcement, Indiana Department of Child Services and prosecution. Victim advocacy is also provided for the child and non-offending caregivers to connect the family with therapeutic, medical and social service needs and to advocate for the victim within the criminal justice and child welfare systems. Kids Talk also provides child sexual abuse prevention programs to over 12,000 students each year in Madison and Hancock counties.
