This grant will fund the purchase of wobble stools for my fifth-grade classroom to enhance student engagement and focus. These flexible seating options are designed to support physical movement, allowing students to maintain alertness and reduce restlessness, especially during longer lessons. With wobble stools, students can subtly shift their weight, increasing core engagement and facilitating the sensory input many learners need to stay focused.

The wobble stools will empower students to regulate their own learning environment and provide them with the physical outlet necessary for optimal focus and comfort. By supporting movement-friendly seating, this grant directly contributes to an inclusive classroom where students of various learning needs, especially those who benefit from kinetic engagement, can thrive. Additionally, these stools will help create a flexible, modern classroom environment that aligns with best practices in active learning. Flexible seating helps students learn self-management skills, builds a sense of agency, and fosters a classroom atmosphere where all students feel supported.
