Welcome to Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena's annual Black Tie & Burgers event happening on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at our Slavik Clubhouse at 3230 E. Del Mar Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91107. Get ready for an unforgettable evening filled with celebration, community, and unwavering support for our incredible youth.
This year's theme, "Through the Blue Doors," celebrates the amazing journey that begins when a child steps through our Club doors. Every moment inside our blue doors transforms dreams into attainable goals.
Black Tie & Burgers, our biggest fundraiser of the year, is dedicated to raising essential funds to help children and youth in our community reach their full potential. At this year's event, guests will be able to indulge in delicious hand-crafted burgers, sip on fine wine, and bid on one-of-a-kind auction items while witnessing the magic of dreams coming true through the blue doors.
This year, we are honored to celebrate the legacies of two beloved Club legends: "Big John" Matthiessen, two-time Board Chair and steadfast Club champion, and Larry Cole, long-time Mackenzie-Scott Clubhouse Director. These two Club champions passed away this year, and we are grateful to honor their immense contributions and enduring impact.
