May we? Mais oui ! - Faut qu'ca jazz !

Please join us on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from 6 to 10 PM for Faut qu'ca jazz !, the 15th annual gala benefit of Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul! This year, we look forward to bringing the celebration to Town & Country Club in St. Paul.

Inspired by Paris' early embrace of the Jazz Age - from les annees folles of the 1920s to the height of the jazz manouche scene of the 1930s, our annual event will feature the lively banh mi jazz quartet during our silent auction, gorgeous views of Minneapolis and the Mississippi River, a Live Auction with Auctioneer Kurt Johnson, fine French wines, and a gourmet meal. Our annual gala is our biggest fundraising event of the year, and your support is crucial to the financial health of our organization.

Portraits at the Gala

In the spirit of Montmartre's world famous portrait artists, we are holding a raffle for (6) ten-minute portraits to be done on site at the Gala during the cocktail hour. Portraits generously donated by AFMSP Illustrator in Residence, Kathy Fenske.

Oh la la ! Pre-Register for a free raffle ticket: All attendees who have completed registration with payment info prior to May 5 will be given one free raffle entry!

Raffle closes at 11:59 PM May 5, 2024. Names will be drawn and six winners will be notified May 6. Winners must be present at the Gala for their portraits.
