About Animal Assisted Happiness

Founded in 2009 and uniquely situated in Silicon Valley, Animal Assisted Happiness (AAH) aims to enrich the lives of youth with needs and foster mental wellness through the joy of barnyard animal interactions. Our vision is to create "a million smiles" through vocational programs and visits to our Smile Farm in Sunnyvale, as well as mobile visits to schools, homes, and other organizations. We operate through generous donations, grants, and a passionate network of volunteers. Your sponsorship and support help maintain and expand our vital programs, ensuring that our community of youth and their families can benefit from AAH's services.

About the Event

On October 5th, we are hosting our Fall fundraiser, Smile Farm Saturday. This event is crucial for generating the funds we need to keep our programs running and expanding. We will be offering farm tours, food and drinks, a scavenger hunt for the kids, plus a silent auction. All ages are welcome and there will be something for everyone! We anticipate 400+ guests to come through our gates on that day, from 2- 6 p.m. at the Smile Farm located at the Baylands Park in Sunnyvale.

Your Impact

Smile Farm Saturday sponsorships will directly contribute to several essential areas:

• Funding private Smile Farm visits for youth with needs
• Funding mobile barnyard buddies visits to youth with needs or to schools/organizations
• Funding vocational educational Smile Farm visits to help older youth develop life skills
• Supporting animal care and maintenance
• Ongoing support and maintenance of the Smile Farm, including feed, utilities, transportation, and staff to run our programs, maintain our facility, and care for our animals

It takes half a million dollars annually to keep our Smile Farm running, and every contribution makes a significant difference.
