Maker Nexus is where the notable, up and coming woodworker artist, Liam O'Connor of @bluebirdwoodshop makes his creations come alive. Liam's unique style has made his hand made projects a hot commodity. Many of his original works have faces and quirky personalities that make them feel as much like friends as furniture. They sell quickly, so this is an unusual opportunity to have one of his hand signed originals.
The table is made with 3 species of solid hardwood -- it features mahogany horns, walnut hooves and eyes, with the remainder made of oak. Liam fashioned the piece using the same tools and equipment you can learn to use and have access to as a member of Maker Nexus! In fact, Liam teaches many of our woodshop classes and workshops. Come by for a tour of our 28,000 sq ft community makerspace that is right around the corner from Smile Farm at 1330 Orleans Drive. We are open from 10 am to 10 pm, 7 days a week!
