A.J.'s Walk of Joy
May 5th
Libertyville, IL

Approximately one year ago March 20, 2023, our son Aaron Jacob (A.J.) Blair Bianco was born with a congenital heart defect and achondroplasia. He had open heart surgery within hours of his birth and fought hard for 44 days before God called him home May 3, 2023. A.J. was a strong warrior and brought joy to our family and community amidst the most difficult season of our lives.

In loving memory of A.J.'s life and legacy, we are raising funds for Noelle's Light, a parent-founded 501(c)(3) that provides financial and emotional support to families facing a fetal diagnosis or infant loss. Noelle's Light covered the majority of A.J.'s celebration of life funeral costs and we were deeply moved by their acts of kindness.

44 days. That is how long A.J. was with us on this earth. So, for the next 44 days, we will honor his life by fundraising to support families like ours, culminating on Sunday May 5th as we gather for A.J.'s Walk of Joy. Rather than doing a typical 5K walk, we will honor A.J.'s 44 days on earth with a 4.4K walk (route to be determined), ending in a celebration with music, a food truck, an ice cream truck and more! Details to be finalized in the coming days so stay tuned!

Join us in keeping A.J. alive in our hearts by donating to Noelle's Light. 100% of all proceeds, dollar for dollar, will support families in need.

Special Thank You to Libertyville High School and First Presbyterian Church of Libertyville for generously supporting our event.
