About Isaac
Meet Isaac Torres, the dynamic force behind InterCambio Express, the largest Latino-owned company in Indiana. Born in the vibrant streets of Mexico City, Isaac brings a touch of vida to every boardroom. Despite the serious business acumen, Isaac proves that accountants can be fun!
Isaac's life is a harmonious blend of family, fitness, and business. When he's not immersed in the world of numbers, he's perfecting his golf swing or pushing his physical limits at the CrossFit box. With three lively children, his life is a constant source of joy and adventure. His commitment to his family is mirrored in his business, with his two eldest sons joining the family enterprise this past January. His youngest is a Junior at the prestigious Kelly School of Business at IU Bloomington. Isaac's dedication to his family extends beyond the business world, where his supportive wife stands as his unwavering partner, balancing the demands of the company and family with their shared passions for golf, fitness, and the pursuit of personal growth.
Isaac's passion for Tequila is more than a hobby. It's a way of life. A true connoisseur, he can discern the finest agave blends with a single sip. His collection of Tequila shot glasses is not just a display but a testament to his love for the drink and the stories behind each glass. Whether jetting off to exotic locations or hosting unforgettable gatherings with friends, Isaac's zest for life is infectious.
Graduating with an MBA from Indiana University South Bend in 2000, Isaac's entrepreneurial spirit knows no bounds. He was recently named one of Indiana's 250 most influential business leaders by IBJ Media. He is constantly searching for ways to grow his company, but not only does he work for his company, but he also works for his community as an avid philanthropist. A pillar of his community, he enjoys giving back to the community, which has brought him much success.
Isaac's commitment to his community is unwavering. He supports JA because he sees its value in the South Bend/ Elkhart area and wants to extend those opportunities to the Latino community. His vision is to bring more diversity to the organization and inspire the new generation of Latino Hoosiers to exceed their perceived limitations. He firmly believes in their potential to become business leaders and reach heights they never thought possible. Isaac sees JA as a valuable organization for all youths and is passionate about exposing more Latinos at an early age to its impactful work.
About Kevin
Hi there, amigos! My name is Kevin Torres-Villa, and I am the middle child of Isaac Torres, aka El Conquistador. As of this winter, I am officially one of Elkhart County's most recent boomerangs. Although I was born and raised in Elkhart County, I left the state to explore the craziness of the East Coast but ultimately decided to come back home to live closer to Rise and Roll doughnuts… I mean family, closer to family.
As part of this journey back home, I left the accounting world to join the family business, hoping to one day continue our legacy and impact the lives of many families. When not working, I like to watch or play sports with friends and family or play in the yard with our cute dog Thiago. I am also a future first-time uncle, which I am incredibly excited about, so any suggestions on becoming the fun uncle are welcome.
Why do I support JA?
Well, that's easy; aside from having early experience with the program in my early years, I see JA as a launchpad for the youth of Elkhart County. They impact the lives of those who come into contact with them by providing opportunities that aren't readily available to so many. As the newest board member of JA, I want to share my experience with the latest generations by applying what I learned at JA and the RISE program as a youth.
