Our annual Gala, to be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Artists For Humanity in Boston, is our biggest fundraiser of the year - crucial to making these life-saving services possible. It draws hundreds of Italian Home supporters to celebrate our impact and contribute to this essential work. The Gala will feature a cocktail reception, dinner, an open bar, dancing, live and silent auctions, and a short program about the importance of our mission.
The Gala theme is "Mosaic" because diversity is our superpower. Our staff and the children and families we serve are all stronger because we come from such a variety of backgrounds. Cocktail attire encouraged - we look forward to seeing you there!

Over 100 years ago, Italian Home for Children was founded to help the most vulnerable young people in the community - Italian-American children orphaned by the great flu pandemic. Today, we promote the resilience and well-being of youth, adults, and families - of all backgrounds - facing mental health and educational challenges. We offer a broad range of life-saving programs for children other agencies often cannot assist.
Why Italian Home?
The demand for Italian Home for Children's services has never been greater. There is a waitlist for almost every program and thousands of people wait to receive the care they deserve. In addition, our care often extends beyond the model reimbursed by insurance and state agencies. This extra support provided to youth and families is not billable, however is critical to the success of the children and families we work with to avoid future hospitalizations and, ultimately, save lives. Your generosity to the gala directly impacts those we serve, helps us increase the number of lives we impact, and bridges the fiscal gap this organization faces every year.
