at The Venetian in Garfield, NJ at 6:00pm on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.

The Courage Awards Gala is a celebration and an opportunity to honor compassionate community leaders who support the CarePlus mission and empower those facing the life-long challenges of mental illness and addiction. It is our privilege to recognize the 2024 Courage Award Honorees:

Senator Joseph A. Lagana (NJ-38), for his dedication to addressing the mental health needs of NJ youth and community members.

Debra Wentz, PhD, President and CEO of the New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies (NJAMHAA), for committing herself to improving lives by changing views about mental health and addiction.
