Beautiful artwork collaboration created by local artist Amy Terry and Arkansas Children's Hospital Northwest patient Levi, age 2.

ABOUT LEVI
At 25 weeks in utero, Levi was diagnosed with alpha thalassemia major, which causes extreme, life-threatening anemia. He receives blood transfusions monthly at Arkansas Children's Hospital. His parents say the best part of receiving treatment at Arkansas Children's is the kind and caring staff. One nurse has been working with Levi since he was 2 months old and is always a source of comfort on transfusion days. Levi is bright, silly and opinionated. He loves dancing and having dance parties with his little sister. Levi is obsessed with superheroes, and his favorite is Spiderman.

ABOUT THE ART
This vibrant and fantastic feline was inspired by Arkansas Children's patient, Levi, who adores cats. Every piece of acyrlic and watercolor paper in this cat collage was painted by Levi himself. Artist Amy Terry then transformed the painted materials into this meow-sterpiece that is full of personality and charm.
