East Ridge is a unique community made up of exceptional staff, teachers, students, parents and so much more. Our annual auction is the PTA's primary fundraising event for the year. The auction is a wonderful way to support our East Ridge community and provide equitable resources for our school. Proceeds from the auction fund almost all of the school functions throughout the year.
Where can you see the proceeds for this auction in action?
- All supplies for monthly art lessons in every classroom - like those cute, fused glass and clay projects kids bring home at the end of the year!
- Removal of broken, unused playground equipment, replaced by an outdoor classroom and fence mural art installation
- Hands on math manipulatives in every classroom and support for all teachers from the math genius squad program on a daily basis
- Many school wide events put on at no cost to families like Fall Festival, Bingo Night, Dance Party Night, Spelling Bee, Cultural Night, Art Walk, or Field Day
- Staff support funds for every single teacher to help purchase classroom materials
- School Grants like a recent one to purchase new benches for students to use in the covered area on all those rainy recess days
- 5th Grade graduation and Leave Behind Project
- Monthly Staff Appreciation events all year long
- School Play, Art Walk, Yearbooks, Spirit Wear and Book Fair all made possible
- Booked for Lunch
- Playworks Recess Program
