As part of our mission to connect the community to classroom, Jeffco Schools Foundation is pleased to present the annual Hero Awards, honoring Jeffco Public Schools students and teachers of extraordinary character, leadership and strength.

The 2018 Hero Awards will be held on Monday, November 12th, at the Sheraton West in Lakewood from 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM

This year we will honor three teachers, one each from an elementary school, middle school and high school. New this year, we will recognize a classified employee who exemplifies selflessness, resiliency and tenacity.

Honorees are chosen by a volunteer selection committee comprised of community leaders/educators and Jeffco Schools Foundation Board members. Each student will receive a full ride to Red Rocks Community College and a $1,000 scholarship from Jeffco Schools Foundation. Teachers receive one free three hour course at Red Rocks Community College to continue their professional development and a classroom grant from Jeffco Schools Foundation.
