Why should I provide an email for ticket purchases?
We are 100% committed to the flawless execution of your event. By capturing email addresses during ticket purchase, your guests will receive immediate notification that a ticket has been purchased for them. The email contains pertinent event information which the guest can refer to up to the day of the event and can be used at tax time as a receipt for tax purposes.
The Joshua Chamberlain Society ("JCS") is a grass roots 501(c)(3) federally tax exempt charity that was formed with the mission of providing long term support for Fallen and Wounded Military Heroes.
Our unique mission is that we adopt, in the truest meaning of that word, these veterans or the family of these deceased veterans, and commit to provide support for the long term. 5, 10, 20 or more years after the serviceman or woman has suffered grievous and permanent injuries, the veteran or their family will know that the citizens in their community still honor and recognize their enormous sacrifice for our freedoms. As their injuries or death is permanent, so is the support that we provide.
This support is multi-faceted and comes in the form of gifts, tuition assistance, monetary donations, and the like--anything identified as something that will improve the quality of life for these heroic Americans.
10th Anniversary Shoot for the Troops
Join us for another fun filled day of shooting to raise money for our JCS Heroes. We will have the same three flight program as last year.
Round up the best clay bird shooters you know and register for a 5-man (or woman!) team. Teams will shoot the clay course at Black Hawk Valley Hunt Club in Old Monroe, which offers a number of challenging and fun stations. Teams score their best shooters hits out of four shots. Time slots are limited so register today!
