Night of the Stars 2017

Central Kentucky Riding for Hope is dedicated to enriching the community by improving the quality of life and the health of children and adults with special physical, cognitive, emotional and social needs through therapeutic activities with the horse.

Since 1981, CKRH has served thousands of people living with disabilities. Thanks to the generous support of so many, we continually bring the healing power of the horse to people living in a world focused on what they cannot do so that they have activities that they can do.

NIGHT OF THE STARS is the signature fundraising event for CKRH with proceeds offsetting our operating costs from horse care to facility needs. Its yearly success has enabled our programming to expand beyond therapeutic riding. Now the face of a CKRH client includes a military veteran experiencing post-traumatic stress, a high school student needing an alternative learning environment and a survivor of domestic violence learning to trust again.

Through our equine-related activities, the lives of these people and their loved ones are improving and the proceeds from NIGHT OF THE STARS ensures we have the resources to continue to help them!
