USS Colorado (SSN 788) Gala & Auction

The USS Colorado Commissioning Committee is proud to host a fundraising Gala and Auction on September 17th at the new Charles Schwab Campus in Lone Tree, CO.

The event will start with cocktail hour followed by a buffet dinner. Silent auction bidding will occur during this time. We will initiate online bidding for silent auction items several days before the event. Later in the evening auctioneer Scott Alexander will conduct the live auction portion.

Ticket prices are $125 for individuals or $325 for VIP tickets. Corporate and group sponsorships start at $2,500 for a table of 8 and up.

It has been 93 years since the last USS Colorado (BB 45) was Commissioned. This is a once in a lifetime event. We hope that you will join us in supporting our submarine and her fine officers and crew that defend our great nation.

About the USS Colorado Commissioning Committee:

USS Colorado (SSN 788), currently under construction at the Electric Boat Shipyard in Groton, CT, is the 15th Virginia Class Submarine. She is expected to be christened in Late Fall of 2016 and commissioned in Mid 2017. The Commissioning Committee has been formed to promote awareness within the state of Colorado of this once in a lifetime event, create enthusiasm and support within the state for the officers and crew who will sail in her, and to help organize and raise money for the events surrounding commissioning. We will create a relationship between the state and the ship's crew that will last throughout the life of the submarine. The Committee is an authorized 501C3 organization. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
