According to Golf Advisor, Augusta Ranch Golf Club provides an excellent practice location for golfers wanting to work on their short game and it is also an excellent place for beginning and intermediate players. Three sets of tee boxes on the golf course accommodate different abilities. This executive, desert-style course is easy to walk with a relatively flat landscape and well-kept fairways. The mildly contoured greens are more difficult than they appear. Water hazards and sand bunkers come into play throughout the course. Their signature hole is the par-4 10th hole, which is accented by a tranquil waterfall alongside the green.

According to Golf Advisor, Painted Mountain Golf Club is a challenging desert-style course with a variety of different tees to accommodate every age group and skill level. The course offers a lengthier challenge from the first hole, a par-5 dogleg right, to the last, which requires an approach shot over water in order to reach the green
