A 3 night stay at the DAKOTA SHY ESTATE in Napa Valley for 4 couples

The Dakota Shy estate is located at the intersection of Silverado Trail and Sage Canyon

Road, a historic intersection near the city of St. Helena, in the Rutherford appellation, in the

California wine country of Napa Valley.

The property consists of six beautifully landscaped acres graced by 140 olive trees, orange,

lemon, and lime trees, and many other native fruit bearing trees, bushes, and vines. A

lovely rose garden is the centerpiece of the gardens and various floral plantings around the

estate. Several giant sequoias stand guard over the houses and grounds.

The stunning main house and guesthouse are decorated in a modern French Provincial

style to honor the French heritage of the original owners, the Charles de Limur family.

There are four large master suites between both houses with lovely views of the grounds.

Each bedroom/bath suite has full amenities, including king beds, closets and 55-inch

televisions in each bedroom. There is a full gourmet kitchen and a formal dining room that

seats 12. A swimming pool is nestled between the main house and guesthouse.

Since 2014 this spectacular estate in the heart of wine country has been home to Dakota

Shy Wines, but for over 50 years preceding Dakota Shy's acquisition of the property, the

estate was the Napa home of the de Limur family, San Francisco socialites and one of the

oldest and most important families in California history. Charles de Limur was a

descendant of Charles Crocker, who, along with Leland Stanford, was one of the "Big Four"

capitalists who built the Central Pacific Railroad and was one of the founders of modern

California.

Recently, Wine Spectator magazine named Dakota Shy a "rising star in California Cabernet"

and Antonio Galloni in Vinous raved, "Dakota Shy is one of the most exciting young projects

I have tasted in some time."

A stay at the Dakota Shy estate includes the opportunity to enjoy tastings of Dakota Shy's

remarkable wines and the serene ambience and world-class offerings of a unique property

and winery, a protected and private jewel in the heart of beautiful Napa Valley.

The Dakota Shy estate is a working winery. The winery is located next doors to the main

house and there is regular activity during business hours. Will potentially be hosting

guests in our outdoor gazebo and patio which are located west of the house.

The estate is also home to our Estate Manager and proprietor. Max occupancy is four

couples. Outside guests and events are not allowed. The redwood grove outdoor area
