Description of the Piece: Despite their huge size and intimidating horns, the calm and friendly Hercules beetles are often kept as children's pets in Asia and used for beetle fighting. To represent this, I decided to make worry stones (intimate handheld objects) inspired by the beetle's colorful shell and iconic horns.

Artist Bio: Catherine Liu is currently a third-year Product/ Industrial Design student at Carnegie Mellon University. She believes that magic happens when a product is in your hands, so she explores the unexpected and curious thoughts of physical objects- the What-Ifs of tangible interaction.
