Local talent and artist Kris Page is back for a W.O.L.F. Sanctuary fan-favorite, with a custom shawl, capturing the spirit of Jacob and Takoda, two of the wild and crazy guys at the sanctuary! Kris carefully crafts these shawls using the fur from both Jacob and Takoda, ensuring that it was done without causing any harm to the animal. You know how dogs shed! This shawl has immense love poured into every inch of its creation. Embrace the spirit of our "wild ones," Jacob and Takoda every time you wear these pieces.

"Jacob all but demanded to be in this, my last shawl. I wanted a contrast, so chose soft, creamy Takoda. Jacob has been a special heart-wolf since my first meeting him, and I was glad, after teaching spinning wolfdog fur at a national conference, that I had enough to accomplish his request."

"The main shawl is from sweet Jacob, of hand spun silk supporting his beautiful, wonderful fur. It's a unique shawl, in that it was made from one continuous strand of yarn, and it's over six feet wide, but weighs barely six ounces. It is a joyous ode to my long friendship with sweet Jacob, and the wonderful kisses he gave me the last time we visited. The fringe is hand twisted, for the points, to make wearing even easier."
