The dam of lots 5 and 6 was the $155,000 half interest daughter of EXAR Stallion selected by Express as the top-selling female of the 2021 Pollard Farms female sale. Her dam, who came to Pollard Farms as a bred heifer out of a past Big Event descends from the Lady 4465C female that is a cell clone of the legendary Ideal 4286 6807 4465 that is known throughout the breed as the "First Lady of Feed Efficiency".

A maternal sister to lots 5 and 6 sold for $50,000 to SydGen in the 2022 Pollard Farms female sale.

The sire of this mating, EXAR Cover the Bases 0819B, was the $400,000 valued bull of the Express Ranches Spring 2022 Bull Sale when half interest sold for $200,000 to Pollard Farms of Enid, Oklahoma, he has been described as a "different kind of high marbling Angus bull" with a moderate frame size, exceptional depth and volume and a fleshing ability one would not expect from a bull with his carcass EPD profile.
