About Us:
Hastings and Prescott have been neighbors along the river for nearly 200 years! For over a decade, we have gathered annually to celebrate our shared commitment to advancing the arts in our communities.
Since our beginning in 2008, the Hastings Prescott Arts Council (HPAC) has been dedicated to providing more opportunities for the arts and humanities to thrive through three main impact areas: Funding Scholarships, Developing Local Partnerships, and Advancing Arts Programming.
It is through your support of HPAC and participation in the Gala for the Arts that these efforts continue. Thank you for joining us!
Auction items can be picked up beginning the following day (December 4-5) at 121 Tyler Street, (ARTSPACE Building), Hastings, Minnesota. Pickup hours will be 10AM-2PM Monday and Tuesday.

GALA DETAILS
The 13th Annual HPAC "Friends Along the River" Gala will be held December 3rd, 2023, at the Hastings Arts Center, which is located at 216 4th Street E. Hastings, MN 55033. Unfortunately, COVID and RSV are still a threat to some in the community. In order to protect the health and safety of our community, we will be having limited in-person attendance (about 125) and having a VIRTUAL online fundraising Gala program and auction open to all. The online event will be FREE for all online participants this year, but you still need to register to participate. We have an amazing program planned for you the evening of December 3rd!
We will be Livestreaming the live music Happy Hour program that evening at 5:40 PM, and the LIVE Virtual Gala Program from 6PM - 7:15 PM over our HPAC YouTube channel at:

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
To attend in person, click on Purchase Ticket and register. In person tickets are $50. Also, at any time - Register for free to participate in the Online Gala - select the Register button. This will also register you for the online Silent Auction with over 90 items.
If you are having trouble registering for the Gala, you can also text HPAC2023 to 76278 and follow the prompts.
From approximately 20 days prior to December 3rd, 2023, you can view all of our amazing auction Items! New items are added as we receive them. Online bidding opens at 8 PM on November 23rd, 2023.
EVENT PROGRAM
4:30 PM Check-in/Registration Opens
5:30 PM - Online Social Hour
- Gather with your viewing group, view auction items and enjoy some live/online entertainment from HPAC.
6 PM - HPAC Virtual Gala Begins
- For those attending in person, we will have a light meal and refreshments.
- Online viewers can watch a special LIVE program from HPAC and our many artistic partners, also streamed over YouTube to online participants.
- Be sure to bid on our many wonderful auction items.
- Be generous and support our Fund A Need by donating to support our many wonderful Arts programs in the Hastings/Prescott Area
7:30 PM - In Person/Virtual LIVE Gala Ends
8:00 PM - Online Auction ends and bidding is closed.
