ARTIST BIO:

On June 12th, 1972, Craig was born into a musical & artistic family in Connecticut.

Being influenced from a young age by his successful artistic mother, great uncles & a grandfather who were big band musicians, Craig's destiny to evolve into an Artist was inevitable.

After graduating from Florida Art Institute, Craig plunged into varied list of artistic endeavors to maintain sanity & relative balance. Craig creates artwork not only for himself but hopes it will stimulate emotions within others…there is no other reason.
Craig's resumé extends beyond his current mural and fine art business. It includes national touring stints as a musician, created storyboard art and props for motion pictures, wardrobe, set & character design for TV and production.

For over 20 years Craig has been on the creative team of Fright Nights at South Florida Fairgrounds and for many seasons has held the position of Creative Director. Craig's love is to give back to the art community and consistently hosts artists talks, mentoring sessions and arts education sessions for teens and adults.

As a proud Co-Founder the Pop up Art Fair CONTINUUM and VP of the board of NMSAF (No More Starving Artist Foundation), Craig continues to NEVER take his creative gifts for granted.

ARTIST STATEMENT:

I revel in awareness of my creative evolution and embrace the fact that it both pushes forward and sometimes recedes. It is a true blessing to have been given the gift of creativity, and I do my best to never take it for granted. Through the process of making work, I focus on fully realizing fresh concepts, honing technical aspects, and the simple joy of sharing ideas and my personal human experience.
