ARTIST BIO:

Stephanie Guterl is an emerging abstract artist who infuses her work with vibrant colors, rich textures and dimensional depth. A dedicated student at the Boca Raton Art School, Stephanie is honing her craft through the exploration of diverse materials, including acrylic paints, alcohol inks, enamels, acrylic mediums, fabrics and papers. Her abstract compositions are characterized by contrast and a love for dynamic layered surfaces that invite viewers to engage with each piece in a unique way

Although she is a relatively new artist Stephanie's work has already been shown in several exhibitions, including the Boca Raton Art School exhibit, The Boca Raton Art School exhibit at the International Plaza and the Broward Art Guild. At the Broward Art Guild, she was awarded honorable mention for one of her pieces, which was also selected as the cover art for the show's invitation. Stephanie is passionate about using her art to explore the emotional power of color and texture and she continues to evolve her practice as she develops her own distinctive voice within the abstract art community.

ARTIST STATEMENT:

My work is an exploration of texture, color, and the boundless possibilities of abstraction. I am captivated by the interplay of vibrant hues and the tactile depth of dimensional surfaces. Each piece I create invites viewers, not to only see, but also to feel the energy and complexity within.

I work with a variety of mediums, including acrylics paints, enamel, resin, inks, acrylic mediums, pigments, fabric and papers. My practice thrives on experimentation as I continuously search for innovative ways to combine the unexpected. By layering materials and techniques I aim to evoke curiosity and encourage a sense of discovery.

For me, art is about breaking boundaries and embracing the unknown. My work is an invitation to step into a world where color and texture, collide, sparking, emotion, and imagination.
