About Our Honorees
Anne and Charlie Henn
Anne and Charlie are long-time Theatrical Outfit subscribers, supporters, and fans. Charlie served on the Board of Trustees for twelve years - two six-year stints - between 2007 and 2021, led the search committee for a new Artistic Director when Tom Key announced his retirement, chaired the Board during the COVID pandemic, and helped guide the organization through the capital campaign that led to the recent renovation of the Balzer Theater at Herren's. Their support for Atlanta's arts community has not been limited to T.O., however. Over the past two decades, they have served on the Boards of and provided philanthropic support for ArtsATL, Out of Hand Theater, ArtsNow, Theater Emory, and Flying Carpet Theatre. Residents of the Inman Park neighborhood, they are active throughout the Atlanta community. Anne volunteered for more than 20 years at MARR, an addiction treatment center; Charlie chairs the Board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta; and they are both active volunteers at All Saints Episcopal Church. Anne & Charlie have two children, Sarah (21) and Campbell (18), and a deaf dog named Jack.
