-In 2021, Humphries and his wife, Briyana, launched his foundation - The Pee Wee's House Foundation - named in honor of D.J.'s grandmother. Humphries' grandmother was named Elizabeth Ann Means, but her nickname was Pee Wee. The foundation is focusing on providing fresh food to the residents in his hometown of Union, SC as well as providing financial literacy and job placement assistance.

-In 2020 was the recipient of the "Steve Schoenfeld Good Guy" Award from the local chapter of the PWFA for his cooperation and insight in dealing with the media.
