Lauren Hills hails from Lake Zurich, but has resided in Barrington since 2011 when she married her husband, JP Hills. Lauren performed Michael Jackson's "Thriller" in front of 300 people at their wedding, so it's only fitting that she will be on stage dancing for Bacoa. Lauren and JP live in the Village with their two kids and mini Goldendoodle named Liberty. When Lauren is not out walking her dog, she can be found volunteering at her children's school where she is the Parent Association President, lead Preschool STEM teacher, and most recently - a coach for the 3rd and 4th grade boys' basketball team. Lauren & JP founded the Shepherd's Circle in 2008, and their annual Barn Dance event has raised over one million dollars for Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital since its inception. On behalf of the Shepherd's Circle, Lauren initiated and executed the "Meals for Heroes" program benefitting both local restaurants and healthcare workers at Good Shepherd during the early days of the pandemic. Another cause close to Lauren and JP's hearts is Barrington Giving Day, where they have served on the board of directors together for over 10 years. Lauren is "thrilled" to take the stage alongside one of her best friends, Britini, in support of Bacoa.
Britini Wilkens, a proud Barrington High School alum and a devoted mother of four, steps onto the "Dancing with the Stars" stage, bringing a vibrant energy and a passion for dance that has been a part of her life since she was three. Currently embracing the vital role of a stay-at-home mom, Britini juggles her family life with impactful community involvement. She proudly serves as the President of her son's preschool, actively participates in the PTO at the local elementary school, and is always ready to volunteer for various community needs. The cause closest to her heart is being an advocate for the Preeclampsia Foundation. After the loss of Britini and Matt's daughter Hope Michelle, they channeled their grief into action with the help of their amazing family, friends and community. Their team, Team Hope, has raised $175,000 for the Preeclampsia Foundation. They also received the inaugural Hope Award for their efforts in organizing walks, fundraising and raising awareness.
Britini is excited to raise awareness and funds for Bacoa by stepping back into the spotlight and dancing her heart out with one of her best friends. As she glides across the dance floor, Britini is dancing for her community, embodying the spirit of giving and the joy of life.
