Bring your group of up to eight for a two-to-five-mile hike and explore this unique preserve. Not many people are aware of Lower Howard's Creek Nature and Heritage Preserve which is located 30 minutes south of Lexington in Winchester, KY and was first settled by John Holder in the late 1700s. This preserve protects nature and heritage, including miles of stone fences, mill and house foundations. You and your group will have the chance to explore parts of the preserve not usually open to the public. Your guide will plan an itinerary to fit your preferred distance and level of difficulty. A light lunch, snacks and water will be provided. Date to be determined between now and April - any time of year is beautiful, though early spring is a great time to see a wide variety of wildflowers and birds. Expires 12/31/24.
