Her mother, CG MarblingX 919, is a direct daughter of the original import, Big Al, out of a Hikari cow. 919 records the most marbling and ribeye per pound of body weight of all of our Akaushi donors on actual carcass ultrasound. The sire of 0088, King David, is in the top 10% of the entire breed for weaning weight and yearling weight. The mating of the polled stud, King David, to the foundation bred MarblingX 919 produced the donors Polled Queen 0088, Daisy Crockett 0099 and Polled Ume 1011, in addition to the featured polled Akaushi stud, CG Davy Crockett 1001 PLD. Polled Queen 0088 and her flushmates produce exceptional fertility, calving ease, growth, marbling, correct udders and feet, expressive muscle and capacity, and quiet dispositions - everything we look for in an ideal beef animal. 0088 was flushed to the outcross homozygous polled stud, SLA Saisho PP Slator 197F (AP142949) to produce calves that will all be polled purebred Akaushi, with 50% being homozygous polled.
