About Amber Waves Farm:

Amber Waves is a female founded and run 30 acre farm and non-profit organization celebrating their 15th season this year! They rely on donations, fundraisers and all of the purchases from the market and for their educational programs goes back into the non-profit to support mission driven work.

- They are donating food weekly to 7 different food pantries across the South Fork of the East End. - They donate over a 1,000lbs of produce each week to almost 800 families across the area. All of the produce donated is fresh "firsts" and not seconds because they actually include the produce in their crop plan every year so they are harvesting fresh produce to donate each week.
- Amber Waves is an education farm and is focused on educating eaters and growers of all ages, from their children's education programs, including the local public school's field trips, to the apprenticeship program where they train new and beginning farmers for 8 months each year in an intensive farming apprenticeship program, to community events and adult workshops. The goal is to get people more connected to the food they eat and the learn more about both the land and the people who grow it.
- They have tons of programs throughout the fall for the whole family at the farm and offer open access to all 7 days a week at the farm.
