Be An Architect for a Day (MS/US STUDENTS ONLY)

Who: One (1) current Ellis Middle School OR Upper School student who is interested in architecture and design
What: An immersive, full-day experience during which the participating student would have the opportunity to interact with members of the mossArchitects team and better understand what being an architect is all about.

Proposed activities include:

• Information session about education and licensing process to become an architect, interior designer, or urban planner
• Review and discussion of current and past projects
• Site visit to a nearby project that is currently under construction
• Lunch with members of the mossArchitects team
• Hands-on activity or task related to architecture (scaled for the age of the participant)

The package also includes an architecture-themed gift basket featuring architecture books, drawing tools & supplies, etc.

Parent(s) of the participating student to contact Darren Lloyd to schedule experience for a day that works for both the student and mossArchitects (i.e., planned in-service day or holiday when the student does not have school)
