THE SPREAD, 2021, Acrylic and Colored Pencil on Linen, 9 x 12 inches
Image Description:
This work is part of a 2021 series imagining text from public health warnings transposed on slabs of granite and marble. Imbued with the permanence of carefully carved commemorative inscriptions and monumental architecture, these paintings proposed a permanence in the ever-changing lexicon of contagion.
