Consisting of thousands of artifacts, the Perfume Passage Collection is one of the world's most diverse. These culturally significant, rare, and ancient artifacts have fascinating histories as well as being a part of our history. Some of our ancient artifacts date back to 2500 BCE.

Divided into four distinct galleries, the Passage, American Drug Store and Soda Fountain, Art Deco Gallery, and the Vault you will experience an immersive journey through time while understanding how the artifacts reflect the social-economic happenings throughout the ages.

Historical context by means of the perfume bottles, vanity items, and ephemera show this inspirational experience. Each gallery is like a perfume bottle itself, a beautiful space that compliments but does not overwhelm its contents, evoking memories, emotions, and the atmosphere of an era lost in time.

Our docent-led intimate tours are kept small to allow for an up close and personal experience of such artifacts. Many of the artifacts designed by Baccarat, Dali, Gruau, Lalique, Serge Mansau, Tiffany, Viard, and many others are on display throughout the galleries and common areas throughout. No collection is complete without its ancient roots with artifacts dating as far back as 2500 BCE.
