Lunch for up to four (4) people at Athens on 86th Street with Author Georgia Buchanan. Plus, a copy of her new book, If They Only Knew.

Georgia Gianakos Buchanan is a native of Indianapolis, draws on her knowledge of the city of her birth and its traditions, as well as her Greek heritage, to tell this story with rich details. If They Only Knew is the fourth book by this former journalist, fundraiser for many charitable causes and community leader. Her first novel, Paved with Gold, was also set in her hometown. Georgia's years as a TV-Radio and Movie Editor for the Indianapolis News on the 1950s and her career with Mutual Broadcasting in Washington, D.C., are among the stories woven into her autobiographical second book, 428-1/2; My Journey Beyond the Railroad Tracks. Her healthy outlook on life, together with her discussions of making the right choices for diet and exercise, form the advice she dispenses in How to Live Beyond 90 without Falling Down. She wrote If They Only Knew when well into 90s and continues to lead an active life.
