Who is ISLA and ISLA PTO?
International Spanish Language Academy (ISLA) is a Spanish Immersion non-for-profit public charter school for K- 6th grade, serving SW Minneapolis and surrounding suburbs. As a public charter school, ISLA does not charge for admission and accepts any child living in the state of Minnesota.
The ISLA PTO is a 501(c)3 that supports the teachers, students and school by funding teacher and staff requests, student equity initiatives and community events.
Our goals this year:
Fund the Sound Mitigation of the Gymnasium
Fund the LA program for 2024-2025 year
Support Teacher classroom requests
Help to provide student equity by offsetting the cost of field trips and other items
Classroom Parties
Free Community Events
