Kaitlin's blueberry cake took months to perfect. Inspired by her favorite dessert from a restaurant in Colorado, this baker couldn't sleep until she got it just right. Now she happily bakes it every time she gets the chance.

I am a home baker that enjoys expressing love through the food I make. I grew up cooking with my Dad from a young age and learning to bake pies with him. My Dad is an amazing cook, terrible baker! Learning to bake came from a place of NEED for pies and cookies that were not in my Dad's forte but, in doing some explorations of baking, I fell in love! Ever since I have deepened my skills and shared with friends and family. I am pretty sure my husband was prepared to propose after the first blueberry pie I made for him. I hope you can "taste" the love in this fruit filled, decadent cake!

Kaitlin's Kitchen bakes it all. Desserts, pastas and breads. Just this year she tackled her love/hate relationship with macaroons. And she's happy to report success!
