0History buffs, cinephiles, and sailors, this one's for you.
This summer, book a three-night stay for up to six guests aboard the historic, stunningly-restored, luxury motor yacht, Atlantide.
Featuring three staterooms, including one VIP cabin, this 37.28m vessel is considered to be a "kinetic sculpture," due to her museum-quality Art Deco interior, with glasswork by Rene Lalique.
Distinguished by an elegant steel hull and teak superstructure, Atlantide was built by Philip & Sons in the U.K. and originally delivered in 1930. A decade later, whlie conscripted to the Royal Navy, she saved English and Allied troops during the Battle of Dunkirk. For her assistance with such valiant rescues, she is one of the few vessels permitted to fly to the St. George's Cross. She was later featured in the 1962 film Tender Is The Night.
Your voyage will be one for the history books!
Fine Print: Set sail from Newport, Nantucket, or Martha's Vineyard. Exact dates to be agreed upon by owner and winning bidder.
