Meet the Klugs
Dave Klug: As an illustrator, fine artist, musician, and businessman, Dave Klug wears many hats. His award-winning illustrations have appeared in publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, and Time. He's created murals and artworks for clients like Mylan Corporation, CNN, NBC, Highmark, Primanti Bros. Restaurants, and The Carnegie Museums. Dave is a drummer with The Red Beans & Rice Combo and, along with Pat, runs Klugworld. Today, Dave creates and exhibits his art and illustrations at Double Dog Studios.
Pat Klug: Pat Klug has worked in the marketing and advertising field for over thirty years as a creative director, co-founder of Red House Communications, designer, art director, and marketing & communications consultant. Her clients range from large regional health systems and financial institutions to art museums and cafÃÆ'Ã'©s. Pat's earned numerous national, regional, and local awards for her design and branding work. Perhaps more importantly, her ability to listen and hear her clients has earned her deep respect and long-lasting relationships.
Klugworld: The Klugs share a passion for animals. In 2007, they turned that passion, Dave's illustrations, and Pat's marketing prowess into Klugworld. The company caters to animal lovers across the country, providing them with greeting and sympathy cards, posters, and prints. Klugworld's distinctive and sensitive sympathy cards have won several national awards.
