As the President & CEO of the Austin Area Urban League, I am deeply aware of the importance of unity and collaboration in our work. Like fingers on a hand, each of our Pillars of Excellence, robust in its own right, is designed to function more effectively when unified. Our collective action is integral to achieving social and economic equality in our community.

Our 46th Annual Equal Opportunity Day Gala will be African formal attire and is themed "Equity and Equality Across the Diaspora".  It will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 7:00 pm at The Line Hotel. This event serves as a momentous occasion to celebrate our collective achievements, acknowledge the challenges ahead, and renew our commitment to the vital work we undertake.
