Individually Numbered Coins

A collector favorite feature, these coins are individually numbered 1-1,000, and the coin in this lot is #485 of 1,000. The unique number of this coin (struck sequentially and hand-engraved) is found on the edge of the coin (on the edge directly below the mouth of the lion).

Design

The obverse features a stunning design for the 2021 Roaring Lion. The 2021 Roaring Lion Coin features a gorgeous rendition of a lion's head wearing a crown. The lion's face is minted in great detail with the individual whiskers on its face even being distinguishable. The Aleph Tav Symbol ?? on the lion' crown reveals the lion's identity as the Lion of Judah: The strength of the Leader is the Sign of the Covenant. Inscribed on the band of the crown is "SEND OUT YOUR LIGHT AND YOUR TRUTH" (Psalm 43). Behind the lion is a reflective regal floral-like pattern that accentuates the beauty of this design. At the very bottom of the obverse are the specifications of the coin of "FIVE TROY OUNCE" and the exceptional purity of ".9999 FINE SILVER".

On the reverse of this coin, you'll find Ian Rank-Broadley's rendition of Queen Elizabeth II's effigy, along with the year of mintage and the New Zealand legal tender value assigned to this coin.
