29th Anniversary Patron Celebration

Join Chattahoochee Riverkeeper to celebrate the people who help protect the Chattahoochee River and the fantastic progress we have achieved in making the river the wonderful resource it is today. 
The evening will include a cocktail hour with silent auction, a seated dinner, our annual "State of the River" address, awards, and an after-party with live music.

29th Annual Patron Celebration Honorees

In admiration of our river's generous community, we will honor four awardees who truly embody The Heart of the Hooch. These awardees have made it possible for people across all regions, races, and religions to connect with the Chattahoochee River in some way. 

Chattahoochee Riverkeeper Board members David Shaffer and Richard Jacobson will receive our River Hero Award for their decades of leadership and guidance to CRK, which has earned Charity Navigator's exceptional rating for 14 consecutive years.  

Georgia Interfaith Power and Light (GIPL), which equips faith communities across the state to be good stewards of Creation, will receive our River Steward Award in observance of their 20th anniversary. 

Yamaha Motor Company, USA will receive our River Guardian Award for their generous support of CRK's education programs through the supply of state-of-the-art motors for our Floating Classrooms and scholarships for underserved youth.
