Enjoy an intimate evening of food and wine with 8 of your closest friends, while you watch a master chef in action! Renowned Chef Geoff Lazlo will prepare a gourmet, three-course dinner at his beautifully appointed retail location, The Country Table, in Greenwich, CT. Your meal will be expertly paired with wines hand-selected by Paul Laveris of Glenville Wine & Spirits. Scheduling is based on Chef Geoff Lazlo's availability, and certain blackout dates apply. Valid through October 5, 2024. At the age of five Geoff Lazlo turned his sandbox into a vegetable garden. Several decades years later he is still utilizing that garden to showcase the beauty and simplicity of dishes derived from high quality, seasonal ingredients.
Geoff Lazlo is the Chef and Owner of Geoff Lazlo Food, a boutique catering and events company, and The Country Table, a brick and mortar retail location, that features fresh, seasonal and local ingredients prepared using classic technique borne of Geoff's fine dining pedigree.
Over the past twenty years Chef Geoff Lazlo has cooked in some of the world's most celebrated kitchens, including Chez Panisse in Berkeley, California, Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Blue Hill New York, and Gramercy Tavern where he spent 5 years as sous chef. There he was greatly inspired by Danny Meyer's vision of enlightened hospitality. It was this inspiration, paired with his passion for seasonality, locality and sustainability, that Geoff returned home to Greenwich and in 2015, founded his first restaurant, Mill Street Bar & Table.
Geoff has been featured in numerous publications including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Food & Wine Magazine, and has even competed against Bobby Flay on his namesake Food Network show, Beat Bobby Flay. He currently serves on the Shellfish Commission in Greenwich, and speaks on the topics of the food supply, sustainability, and environmental concerns.
Over the course of his career Geoff has had the honor to cook for influential media personalities, celebrities and presidents but considers his family his most important critics.
**During the past year his family has been touched by Parkinson's disease. His wish is that together we can Punch Out Parkinsons for good**
