Below the Surf by Wyland

Three quarters of the earth's surface is covered by water. Yet beneath the surface lies a world of amazing creatures that we seldom realize are there. In his latest mixed media lucite sculpture "Below the Surf," Wyland showcases the power of a an epic, crashing wave, as a trio of bottlenose dolphins accelerates through the water below. "Much of the ocean is still a mystery," Wyland says. "We see it from the beach or when we cruise along the surface in our boats, but few of us can really comprehend the amazing abundance of life in the ocean around us."
