One of the most important steps in preparing to offer therapeutic riding at RRR will be to purchase and install an additional ADA-approved mounting ramp, similar to the one we currently have at our Old Rancheria location (as shown in the photos). This ramp will serve to assist our riders in mounting their horses from a higher platform, making it easier for horses and humans alike. Some of our participants use wheelchairs, while others use walkers. For some, the ability to mount the horse from a higher platform is easier for them to maneuver and coordinate as they begin to ride, learn new, and build strength and coordination.

We have secured partial funding for the ramp from the Richard Reed Foundation and High Tide Foundation, but we need your help to close the gap!

Donate today to help us raise the remaining funds required to purchase this crucial piece of equipment, ensuring our riders' safety and empowering them with independence!
