For many children in Marin County, summer marks an end to school, and the start of vacation. For parents, it marks the start of keeping their kids busy and engaged. Many sign their children up for various day camps, but for those with kiddos with special needs, it can be challenging to find a camp that will allow their child to participate, let alone offer peace of mind that their child will experience acceptance and inclusion.
At Camp Halleck Creek, all "kids" are created equal - whether they're seven or seventeen, sighted or blind, walk or roll - they're all welcomed by our amazing team of teen interns each morning, and spend the day playing with friends and learning about horses. Daily activities include arts and crafts, caring for their horses, trail riding, and even horse "decorating".
Help keep our summer horsemanship camps affordable and available for everyone, while giving the gift of inclusion, joy, and friendship to a child today!
