I would like to have funds to buys more learning games and activites. I want to purchase material for multi-sensory learning and needs.

I am a special education teacher. I instruct students who have mild to moderate learning disabilities from kindergarten to fifth grade. What makes my students special is that they must work 10 times harder to learn something new. It takes my student to be exposed to the learning target 100 times for them to create a long-term memory of the learning target. Because of the difficulty, my students often do not enjoy learning or the learning process. This is where work avoidance and adverse behavior start becoming a problem for the student and general education teacher. I have found that students enjoy learning more when it is fun and in the form of a game. There is time to sit and get but I want to help my students love to learn. This is my reason for becoming a teacher. I struggled through school and did not enjoy it. When I went to college my circumstances changed and I started to love to learn. I want my student to feel that as well. This is why I need more supplies for my classroom. I need more activities that are fun and also teach my students what they need. I need more phonic games that teach different spelling patterns. I need more hands-on activities such as puzzles to give the students a multi-sensory experience. I also need more math games as well. I need them to be hands on and multi-sensory. I also need more multi-sensory tool within my class for calming down and making the space more friendly for student with sensory needs
