This is the first year GHHS students have art as a year-long elective. We do not have supplies for oil painting, acrylic painting, clay/sculpture, or higher-level graphite drawing. Please help!

I'd like funding for supplies that are appropriate to teach high school students 2D art. Specifically, I would like to purchase: easels, acrylic paints and tools, canvases, and oil paints, graphite sketching pencils, and well as student-quality paint brushes. Additionally I'd like to purchase quality paper (not construction or printer paper) appropriate for watercolor and acrylic painting, and wire racks to display student works in art shows. My students currently share all art supplies with the K-8 grades, and our supplies reflect the ages of the bulk of our students (elementary). For high school students to produce quality art, they need quality materials. Having appropriate materials will allow me to teach them at an appropriately challenging level, allow them to develop mature foundational skills in the visual arts, and give them a sense of pride and accomplishment in their finished products. We are a tiny town (700) and a tiny student population (50 in the high school). Please help us access the arts and develop rural artists by funding age-appropriate materials and supplies!
