Lisa Cali, of Tahoe Design earrings. These are Natural Shattuckite with Blue Topaz on Sterling Earwires. Shattuckite is rare vivid blue mineral found in copper deposits. It's often mixed with other copper-minerals, such as Azurite, Chrysocolla, Dioptase, and Malachite. Most of the crystals on the market come from either the Sonoran desert of the American Southwest or the Kalahari desert in southern Africa. The crystal was named after Lemuel C. Shattuck, a saloon keeper, cowboy and miner in the Wild West. Shattuckite is a stone of truth and balance. It helps us to see what has gone wrong and how to bring it back into rightness.
